What Should Be Done For The Weakness, Dizziness And Difficulty In Concentration While Recovering From Pneumonia?
I am recovering from pneumonia and on antibiotics. I m 54 and in excellent condition. However, I m at work and right now finding it difficult to concentrate mentally and focus with my eyes flashing light in peripheral vision. I m also feeling a bit week and dizzy
The problem with your vision may be unrelated to the pneumonia. Flashes of light may indicate a problem with your retina. It is advisable to check with an ophthalmologist. After an infection, feeling weak is common, resting, eating well, staying hydrated and monitoring your temperature for any recurrence of the infection is important during recovery from pneumonia. The dizziness may be related to a number of things including dehydration, recovering from an illness, but it also may be a sign of another problem. I would check with your physician to evaluate these symptoms further.
