What Should Be Done If Thyroid Level Is 7.03 Without Medication?

HI sir I am a 34 year old house wife.I am having thyronorm 100 for last 3 years.Before 2 months my TSH reading was .83.Last week it seems to be 5.3.And Now without medicine it is 7.03.What shall i do now.My Dr is out of station.Please kindly advice me for the same. Thank you very much sir.

Hello and thanks for writing.

I can understand your concern and would try to help you in the best possible way. Your TSH is on a rapid rise due to discontinuation of medication. This is expected when you quit medications.

But is not desirable to have such a high TSH levels as you may develop symptoms of hypothyroidism.I suggest you consult your doctor and any other doctor and get you thyroid medications refilled as soon as possible.
