What Should Be Done To Clear Floaters Aside From Surgery?
high levels of prednisone has caused cataracts in both of my eyes. I had cataract surgery but because I was still taking prednisone, the vision in my eyes has been slightly afflicted with floaters , most likely caused by the prednisone. I was told by my cataract surgeon that yes, it s being caused by the prednisone and recommended YAG surgery. Makes common sense that since prednisone causes cataracts, the eyes would again become affected somehow because of prednisone. What can I do to clear the floaters aside from surgery? High doses of supplements/vitamins such as astaxathin and lutein? Do you have any suggestions?
YOU HAVE SAID THAT YOUR TAKING PREDNISOLONE HAS CAUSED CATARACT. BUT YOU HAVE NOT SAID THE PURPOSE OF YOUR TAKING PREDNISOLONE FOR ALONG TIME. FLOATERS ARE DEGENERATIVE BODY AND THERE IS NO-NEED TO REMOVE THEM. ONE IS ADVISED TO LEAVE IT LIKE THAT. IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO REMOVE FLOATERS. YAG IS LASER AND YOU HAVE TO REMOVE COMPLETE VITREOUS.
