What Should Be Done To Retain The Damaged Relation?
Well, I have a boyfriend and my friend is his sister's best friend and that friend of mine likes him and flirts with him when I am not there. Also, in the beginning of the relationship we hugged every period and now we don't even talk half the time and my best friend asked him " why don't you hug your girlfriend anymore?" and he said "because she keeps walking away when I try"! The thing is is it really me or is it just him or the relation is breaking? Also, how do I stop that friend from flirting with him when I am not there in the nicest way?
Hello, thank you for your query. Yes, I do think that the relationship is slipping out of your hands. Usually its not just one but both the people involved at fault for a relation to fall apart. I think the first thing you need to focus on is communication. Be open to your boyfriend about how you're feeling.May be he is only interested in grtting physical. Tell him how much you value him and about your insecurities. Also tell him lovingly how it bothers you when others flirt with him. If he genuinely cares for you and the relationship, he might tell you his concerns too, and together you both have to try and sort things out. Accept your faults when he tells you and assure him you'll work on those.
If he still doesn't show interest in making things work, he's probably not that willing to make it work, and you might have to clearly talk about that too. You cant forcefully keep someone in your life. Wish u luck.
