What Should Be Given To My Daughter Who Coughs After Sleeping?
my name is hosea hunter I have a 7 year old daughter who during the day is fine but when she lays down she starts coughing around an hour or two after she starts sleeping what can I do to help her I have tried cough medicines of all sorts sometimes they work but after a couple of doses it seems like she gets immune to the cough medicine

Welcome to the HCM,
Nocturnal cough are because of some asthmatic bronchitis.
She can be given some bronchodilator drugs like salbutamol along with antihistaminic and decongestant .
Some investigations like AEC (absolute eosinophil count). ESR CBC,AND CXR will help in arriving the diagnosis.
