What Should Be Normal Cervix Length At 16 Weeks Of Pregnancy?
Hi. At 16 weeks pregnant my cervix lenght was 33mm. I didn t get any instructions what to do and I thought that this is a normal lenght. Afterwards I read on the internet that this is a short cervix. I was doing everything, cooking, walking, etc. Should I have bed rest at this cervix lenght?
The limit for considering cervix to show cervical incompetency is 25mm. if its 33 mm , you are fine. moreover it is advisable to undergo TVS ( transvaginal ultrasound ) 3 weekly to monitor the length of cervix. presently at 33mm and os closed, no need for any particular prevention required. you may follow your daily routine practices. regards
