What Should Be Taken For Temporary Relief From Breakthrough Acid Reflux?

I have had globus for several months now. I take omeprazole and ranitidine twice a day as per my doctors instructions. My endoscopy showed no abnormalities in my esophagus except for minor weakness in my lower esophageal sphincter. Iam scheduled for a pH test next to determine if I have breakthrough acid reflux. Is there anything I can do for temporary relief until all my tests have been completed?

Hi,

For acid reflux due to reduced lower oesophageal sphincter(LES) tone domperidone is a suitable option for treatment which increases the LES tone and prevents acid reflux.
Hope this helped. Do let us know.
