What Should Be The Normal Value For Hemoglobin?

My husband is feeling very week for few days not getting out of bed I took him to doc they did his blood work today I called the doc office about his blood work they said his hemoglobin is 9 and his white cells r 6 they said I need to take him to hospital but my husband don t want to go he just want to Lai down and sleep

Hello,

your husband has anemia. Men usually have 12-17 gr/l hemoglobin. I can't comment on the white blood cells count because you haven't provided the units of measurement. I suppose they are 6000/microliter which is normal.
Anemia causes weakness and sleepiness among other symptoms. He needs immediate medical attention to investigate the cause.
An important note: you should check his blood pressure and pulse rate. If the blood pressure is low and the pulse rate is high then he's probably lost blood and his situation would be considered very urgent!
