What Should Be The Normal Values For Fertility Analysis Of Women?
Hi, I am on fertility work up and just had my HSG yesterday. I am just not feeling confident with the results. Can you please help me understand? Thank you. FINDINGS: Plain film is unremarkable. Contrast examination shows opacification of the uterus with smooth marginal outline. Both fallopian tubes are visualized with diffused intraperitoneal spillage of contrast on the LEFT going towards the contra-lateral side. Spillage on the RIGHT is not definitely identified. IMPRESSION: PATENT LEFT FALLOPIAN TUBE, CANNOT ENTIRELY RULE OUT MINIMAL PATENCY ON THE RIGHT.
Hello, As per the report, the uterus is normal in shape and the outline is smooth, and this means that the inner lining of the uterus is normal. The left fallopian tube has patency proven beyond doubt while the patency of the right tube is doubtful. In the current scenario, laparoscopic chromotubation helps to give a conclusion and if minor aberrations are there, correction is also possible. It is enough for conception if one tube is patent, so please do not worry. Hope you find this information useful. Wish you good health.
