Hi,

Its normal to get your periods delayed by 3-4 days. In your case you have taken pills to postpone your regular cycle. So the current delay might be due to the hormonal imbalance results from that or might be due to stress, low birth weight, obesity, PCOS etc. I advise you to:
- Encourage normal activities, YOGA and stress free exercises
- Take nutritious diet
- Avoid food containing caffeine, alcohol
- Take iron and calcium supplements
- Watch for next cycle. If same problem persist consult your gynecologist for further assistance.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Yogapriya Vasudevan, General & Family Physician
