What Should My Skincare Routine Include Alongside Differin For Acne Scars And Hyperpigmentation?

I have dark skin and just started using differin help??? i have been using differin for a week prescribed by my doctor to use once in the evening , as I suffer with mild acne ,a lot of hyperpigmentation and acne scars on my face .i am 21 years old and suffered with this since my teens , i just want it gone. i was wondering what I should use alongside differin to help with my scars and hyperpigmentation? what should my routine consist of and how long will it take for me to see results? i am in the purging stage and i feel my skin is so sensitive and full of spots , i cant use anything help with that please? thank you
