What Should The Ideal Heart Rate After Radiation While Consuming Norvasc Tablet Be?

I have had radiation two months ago and my blood pressure shot up and now my doctor gave me 1/2 Norvac tablet at night now I am tired in the afternoon and it when I took it it was 95/64 with a heart rate of 88 before lunch and then in the middle of the pm it was 118/73 91 heart rate should I be concerned?

Dear patient,

The numbers currently look OK. Your blood pressure should be less than 140/90, but higher than 90/60; you may want to ask your provider if you can do a trial off the medication with an ambulatory BP monitor to see if you need the medication or not, that is the best safest and most precise way.
