hi doc i wanted to know that what side effects occur if someone ingests karvol plus or taken orally? actually my mom took karvol plus orally by mistake n now we are worried about the adverse effects. what to do kindly answer n what are the side effects? regards garima

Hi,
Karvol capsules contain drugs that should be inhaled. However, they are not likely to be poisonous if swallowed. Your mother may suffer nausea or possible stomach pains. If she only took one capsule and is not suffering stomach pains, I suggest you keep her at home. If she becomes unwell and develops stomach pains, this would be a sign to take her to the ED to get examined.
