I have a 3 year old daughter that I took to her pediatrician Tuesday was a week ago. They diagnosed her w/tonsilitis and said she had strep. They put her on augmentin and she finished it up Thanksgiving day. This is the 3rd week that her temp has been in the range on 99-100 and she still says her throat hurts. Her tonsils are still very swollen but the redness is gone ad she still has bumps on her tongue. Doctor had mentioned that they may do some blood work if it didnt get any better. Am planning to take her back tomorrow to the doctor but was wondering if anybody could tell me anything before we did and maybe if I need to ask for any specific test when we go. Thanks.
