What To Do As My 6 Years Old Has Swallowed A Piece Of Balloon?

My 6 3/4 year old son swallowed a piece of a ballon. He did not choke at all. Should I be concerned and what should I do? My son is about 48 lbs and 4 feet tall. He is behaving as he normally does. I am worried because I understand it is very dangerous to swallow broken ballons! Thank you so much!
