What To Do As My Daughter Coughing Blood?
My 14 year old daughter is a carrier for strep throat. She is on antibiotics now. She throat is red and raw and right tonsil looks to have a hole that is getting bigger. She has been coughing up blood for several days and coughing up more blood each time. The blood is bright red and the last one looked like a clot. Her right neck is swollen. She started the z pack thursday and not getting better but worse. Should I take her back to emergency room?

I have read your query and understand your concern . As far as strep throat and coughing blood is concerned this can be due to inflammation . For this I will suggest you to consult Ent surgeon for clinical examination and investigation . Inmeantime you can take her to emercency room for opinion .
