Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
* As per my surgical experience, I do not agree with the prescription of Triwin on regular basis, which causes more intestine irritation in a known case of IBS.
* Second thing, the famtac 40 is not that potent for gut soothing, instead of that I recommend a better PPI as esomeprazole or pantoprazole for better results.
* Additional guidelines to control diarrhea are
- Regular walk, exercises, deep breathing.
- Strict dietary measures to avoid oily, spicy, non veg, junk foods.
- Avoid smoking, alcohol if consuming.
- Avoid stress, anxiety.
- Sound sleep maintenance of 6-7 hours.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
