Hi, I'm Alayna. I have done the salt and ice challenge on my stomach. The salt and ice challenge is where you put salt and ice on your skin someplace and it starts to burn, and you have to see who can keep it on the longest. So, I kept mine on the longest for 17 minutes. Now, on my stomach wear I have done the ice and salt challenge there is a big hole and a rash. What is it?! Could it hurt me!?

Hi. Thanks for posting your concern at HCM

Seems to have developed irritant reaction.

In such a situation i would have advised application of apply a topical steroid + antibiotic cream twice daily for a week to heal the dermatitis.

If i was your treating doctor i would have also asked you to take a prophylactic oral antibiotic for 5-7 days, to prevent it from getting secondarily infected by bacteria.
