Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi there.

The symptoms you have described could either be due to varicose veins or due to muscle cramps or due to Deep Vein Thrombosis.

Kindly start by getting a Venous Doppler study of the leg .
Treatment will depend on the diagnosis made.

Start wearing Venous Stockings while you are working and for most of the times if it is compatible with your schedule.
Calf pumping exercises and weight reduction will definitely help.

If its simply a muscle cramp then taking Ubicor tablet and maintaining adequate hydration will suffice.

I hope my advice has helped.
Good luck
