What To Do For Headache Caused After Hitting Head?

Saturday night I got into a fight, all I remember is hitting my head on the street floor, I was under the influence of alchahol, but ever since then iv had a headach, its Wensday Morning this headach has gone on for 3 days streight, what can I do to make it go away, should I see my doctor?

I carefully read your question and would explain that your symptoms are related to a head concussion.

You should know that you need a certain period of time to recover spontaneously and the headache may last even some months after.

I would recommend avoiding alcohol intake, straining physical activity and especially a possible repeated head trauma, which could lead to severe consequences for your health. Some bed rest would be helpful.

Meanwhile, I would also advise you to take acetaminophen or ibuprofen three times daily for a week or two. If the headaches do not improve, or even worsen, you should go to the ER and perform a brain CT scan, to exclude possible delayed subdural hemorrhage.
