What To Do For Pain In Hips, Thighs, Lower Back After Copper Coil Was Inserted?
I've had the copper coil for just under 2 years and for just under two years I have sufered with sometime severe pain in my hips and thighs and lower back the pain is a dull pain and I wondered if it was linked to the coil. I have really bad mood swings.
As a first line of management, you can take analgesics like Mefenamic Acid for symptomatic relief.
If pain persists, you can consult a gynecologist and check whether the coils misplaced or not. In case of misplaced coil it has to be removed and reinserted.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
