What To Do For The Bony Bump Behind Left Knuckle?

hi i smashed left hand in car door, hut lots at time but i forgot about it... 20 hours later took my dog for walk, left hand low at side.....now have hot swoolen hand with large bony bump behind my knuckles..... more to worry about than just ice & elevation?

Hi,

I have gone thorugh your query.

You are doing write thing by applying rice and elevation but, one more thing your need is to exclude any possibility of fracture. So you should get xray hand with wrist in AP, Oblique and Lateral view and send me the report.

Take ibuprofen when needed.
