Hello!

Thank you for asking on HCM!

Regarding your concern, I would explain that in this clinical situation, it is important performing a careful differential diagnosis between different causes that may lead to this clinical scenario: a viral infection, migraine, high blood pressure, a stroke, etc..

I would like to know if you have measured your blood pressure lately. High blood pressure could also be the cause of headaches and vomiting.

Why did you use the patch for 36 hours? When did your headache start?

I recommend going to the ER for a careful physical exam and some tests:

- a resting ECG
- complete blood count, blood electrolytes
- thyroid hormone levels.

A brain CT scan may be needed if suspicions of a stroke are raised during physical exam.

Hope to have been helpful!

Kind regards,

Dr. Aida
