Hello,

What it appears to me is this is Repetitive Stress Injury. Carpal tunnel syndrome can be controlled by the help of Physical therapy using ultrasound therapy and TENS therapy for reducing the tightness in the flexor retinaculum and also the pain.

You should even focus on some strengthening exercises of the extensor group of muscles of the Forearm and hand along with the stretching of the flexor group of muscles to release the pressure.

Over a period of time in RSI, the muscle adapts the action and gets locked leading to symptoms like pain, numbness and tingling. Performing regular exercise can help avoid the symptoms of getting words.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
