What To Do If An Elderly Person Was Bitten On The Forearm And Has Two Elongated Punctures?
My 86 year old mother was bitten on her forearm while walking this morning outside her home in Orange County, CA. She didn't see what bit her. It appears like two elongated punctures, each 1/4 inch long separated by 1/2 inch. It looks like snake fang bit pattern. My first instinct was that a ribid bat bit her. She's stubbern and doesn't want me to take her to see a doctor. Suggetions?
