What To Do If Child Is Having Problem In Passing Stool?

My son(1 yr 9 months) is passing hard stools for about 6 months,also he passes his motion weekly thrice. Doctor has advised him not to take milk, chips,chocolate for 6 months and need to put wax every morning til he does his potty every morning regularly. Doctor has also advised to give only fiber filled food. Can i give him mutton soup, fish and chicken? Please advise.

Hi, yes you can give him chicken soup, fish and chicken but along with this remember to give salads and try to give different variety of foods. This will help in overcoming constipation problem in child. Take care.
