Hey my boyfriend and I had sex and after I woke up, I felt nautious and my cliterous was throbbing painfully. I took Tylenol and the nautious feeling went away and the throbbing isn t as bad but there is still a little bleeding and it hurts really bad around the clit area when I pee and I m starting to see a little more blood each time. What do I do.? What happened.?
Your history suggests that you have caught infection. The clitoris is unlikely to get infected. You could be having urethral infection.
External opening of the urine passage is situated just underneath the clitoris. This is called as external urethral meatus. During rough sexual act, touching of condom to external urethral meatus or any trauma to it may cause inflammation of the urethral meatus ultimately leading to the infection of the urinary passage. Subsequently this infection ascends right up to the kidney. This is known as honeymoon pyelitis since its origin is from the sexual act. This complication is commonly found in girls who are newly engaged in sexual acts.
You seem to be in the stage of inflammation of external urinary meatus. It may cause you burning urination also. You will require some antibiotics. Urinary analgesic - Pyridium can give you some relief. The colour of the urine becomes red after these tablets; now issue of concern. It is the colour of the medicine. Also please drink a lot of water. Before starting any medicines, please get your urine examined from the laboratory.
Please report to your Gynaecologist and get clinically examined before jumping to any self treatment.
I hope this helps you.
