Hi,
Nebicard is a beta receptor blocker commonly prescribed to treat
high blood pressure, heart disease, and other conditions.
Based on the history you seem to have developed an
allergic reaction which is less commonly seen with the use of nebicard.
If the allergic reaction is confirmed as occurring due to nebiacrd, avoid taking it and ask your treating doctor for an alternate effective but a safer medication like concor for the control of your high blood pressure.
As far as
mouth dryness is concerned it is unlikely to be due to nebicard. I advise you to go for regular dental check-ups and
ask dentist about application of sealants to teeth fissures, chew xylitol chewing containing gum, avoid alcohol containing mouthwashes.
If not relieved, you need to be clinically evaluated to rule out
Sjogren’s syndrome.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
