hai doctor am 24 year old. i having a aging symptoms like wrinkles in face, hand and leg.thats y went to skin doctor she prescribed a hhsone cream for face.after applying it gives good looking. one week i cant use the cream suddenly got a pimples alergy what can i do
The potent steroid (mometasone) that it contains cannot be used on face for long. Using it would obviously lead to side effects related to steroid abuse:
-Acne, -Photosensitivity, -Skin thinning (Atrophy) and telangiectasis and -Facial hair growth(hirsutism), which is especially troublesome in females.
Therefore I would advice you to not use it on your face anymore. it should be used only under the supervision of a dermatologist since early signs of steroid abuse may be missed by others.
If I was your treating doctor I would have asked you to use a topical antiacne gel like either clindamycin or benzoyl peroxide gel once or twice daily for your acne.
