What To Do If Mother Is Having Vomiting After Eating Or Drinking Anything Since Childbirth Two Weeks Ago?
Anytime I eat anything for the past three or four days i can get a bite into or half way through the meal and need to vomit. Its been solid foods and liquid broth. I gave birth to a healthy boy two weeks ago and this just started within the last week.
Unfortunately being pregnant or having just given birth does not keep you from getting sick just like any other person. You may just have a stomach flu, which will go away on its own with time. I would continue a very bland, mostly liquid diet until you van hold down solid food. The only issue would be if you had delivered by cesarean section, as surgical complications can cause vomiting and can be potentially more serious. If you had a c-section, call your doctor right away to see if you should come in for an office appointment, if not, try to stay well hydrated until you can eat solid food again. I hope you feel better and this answers your question.
