What To Do If Periods Are Irregular Even After Taking Regestrone?
Dr i had taken regestrone on 1st oct 2013 after that i got my periods on 16th oct which was very less in amount. But after that i did not got my periods and now it is about to complete 3 months without periods. I had an ultrasound which was normal nd blood test was also normal. What should i do now?
Hello, I have gone through your query and understood the concern. The fact that you had the withdrawal bleeding after hormone supplement indicates that your uterus is responsive to hormones. The fact that you did not receive any further period suggests that your estrogen secretion may be lower than normal and so is progesterone. This is why you did not have a moderate blood flow during your induced period. In the current scenario, you should approach a specialist for a proper evaluation, get a complete hormone profile if not done earlier and take hormone courses. Hope this helps.
