What To Do To Reduce E Coli Count?

Hi! I am pregnant now. 8th month started. I had taken urine culture test. Its found that E Coli is grown and the count is 1lakh. What are the complications and what are the intervention that i should do? Please help. I urinate a lot and slight itching is there is the vaginal entrance. Kindly suggest.

Hi, thanks for writing..
You have severe urinary infection.. Get it treated with a course of antibiotics.. Take vaginal pessary of clotrimazole which help to decrease vaginal infection.. Avoid touching your vagina nad urethra after washing the anal region. Always wash from front to back.. E coli is an inhabitant of stools.. So contamination of vagina and urethra wilt feces has caused the problem.. Always keep the area dry.. Hope I have answered your query.. Good day..
