What To Do When Missed One Dose Of Keppra And Depakote ?
My 27 yr old son was diagnosed with seizures in Dec 2009, but has not had a seizure since May 2010. He takes Keppra 500mg 2 in morning (12 noon) and 3 @ night (12 midnight) and Depakote 500mg 2 in morning and 1 @ night. He missed his nightime dose yesterday and morning dose today. At 8:30 tonight he took his morning dose of 2 500mg Keppra and 2 500mg Depakote. Should he try to get in another dose or just take his doseage as ususal tomorrow starting @ noon?

No, he need not worry because these are longer acting preparations and serum level is not going to crash so what he has done is enough.
