What To Expect From A Cardiologist For Heart Attack?

im a 45 yr old female. ive been feeling a lot of stress and anxiety since outrunning a tornado last week. went to dr and had some bloodwork done. the nurse called and said bloodwork showed there is a possibility i had a heart attack. now im being referred to a cardiologist. what can i expect now?

If they were really concerned about a heart attack they should have sent you directly to the Emergency Department. If you have further symptoms you should do exactly that. Otherwise, they will repeat blood work, perform an EKG and possibly some other testing depending on what they find.
