What Treatment Do You Suggest For White Bump On The Iris And Red Streaks From The Bump?

My 6 year old has had cold symptoms. His eye is kind of bloodshot (in outer corner only) with a small white bump on the iris of his eye. There is no discharge from eye-just the red streaks radiating from the bump. This is his second day. The redness hasn't gotten worse or spread to other eye. I have appt tomorrow. Thoughts?

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
It appears to be the pterizium,a thickening of the sclera, run from the outer angle of the eye to the cornea, some times may spread over to the cornea. But at this age it is not common.
So i advise you to consult an ophthalmolagist for diagnosis and treatment. If it spreads more over to the cornea a minor surgery has to be performed.
wishing for a quick and complete recovery. thank you.
