What Treatment Is Suggested For Difficulty In Passing The Stools?
hello doctor..... my baby who is goin to be an year old on dis 17th is suffering with tight motion....sometimes she is nt even able to do motion....aftr many efforts. i want a quick and helpful solution please.... she is already very weak.... what shall i do...??
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history and understood the concerns. Since hte baby is just an year old, there is nothing that you should do at home for difficulty in passing motion. I would suggest you the following for her: Consult a Pediatrician or a Pediatric Surgeon for proper clinical evaluation, X-ray of the abdomen to see if there is fecal impaction due to any problem and if present the baby needs to be administered either a suppository by the Nurse and teach you or may need a saline enema. Since the baby is just one year old many regular suppositories and laxatives are not advised in such a small baby. Hence you should strictly follow the advise of the Specialist.
