What Treatment Is Suggested For Nodule On The Arm Near Wrist?
my mother in law stays in small city of haryana in india. she is a widow dependant on her daughter in law as son is very busy with his work. She has one nodule on her arm near wrist. She had gone for all the tests and it was told that it is benign. She was suggested to remove the liquid from that portion and take antibiotics so that it would dry itself and not need for operation but that all in vain. now she has pain and three of her middle fingers are not working properly. when she do she went to a doctor in delhi he suggested surgery. She does not want surgery whether surgery can be avoided ?
The symptoms of your mother seem to be related to a skin cyst. They are usually benign and non-cancerous. Cysts can develop as a result of infection, clogging of sebaceous glands.
The treatment consists in minor surgery to take out the entire cyst wall. This usually keeps them from coming back.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
