What Treatment Is Suggested For This HSG Test Result?
Sir i married 3 years ago. 2 years back i had a cyst in my left ovary so it was operated. Have done hsg 2 times showed that my left tube blocked. Doctor suggesting to do ivf but I m not interested in that. My question is this i ovulate every alternate month but my dominant follicle size is always 16 * 17. So please suggest me what should i do
Yes, of course, the chance of pregnancy will be reduced to 50% if one tube is blocked. You are ovulating every alternative month. If the follicle size come more than 20mm it's good. But sometimes it does not matter. Ovum should be released from ovary. Since there is tubal block along with alternative month ovulation better to go for IVF as your doctors told already. Have a opinion from your doctor one more time. Ask all your queries with them. Make it clear and then proceed.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
