What Treatment Is Suggested For Worm Infection?
My daughter is suffering from worm infection.Every 6 months she is having the problem.severe itching and she can't manage.sometimes monthly once it is happening.I gave zentel syrup.After giving it next day the stool is red, Iam after afraid after hearing this.Iwant to know why the stool is red.

Worm infestation does not cause the stools to be red.
It is likelt to be due to
1. Entamoeba Dysentry
2. Perianal excoriation due to itching which could be causing red stools
3. Rectal Polyp
I would suggest you to get evaluated from Pedaitrician.
