What Treatment Is Suggested For Yeast Infection?

I ve been on birth control since August of 2013, and after October 2013 my period stopped. Yesterday, it started back up again (or at least something very much like a period). Not sure if this is relevant, but recently I was treated for a yeast infection. Also, during my off week I accidentally took two extra days to pick up my new month s prescription (started on Tuesday of last week).

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

As per your history, it may be due to yeast infection

For that you can apply clotrimazole ointment locally.

You may also require clotrimazole pessaries locally. Maintain proper hygiene.

Along with that kindly do blood investigation to rule out any STDs after consultation. Avoid sweating

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shyam B. Kale, General & Family Physician
