What Treatment Options Are Available For Recurrent Prostate Enlargement And Urine Infection, And Is Surgery Necessary?

Prostate enlargement 2nd time after 14 years, and urine infection (I) Present treatment for Prostate enlargement 2nd time after 14 years: The present treatment is started since Nov. 2021, for 2nd time prostate enlargement, after 14 years. Based on test reports of Ultrasound of abdomen and Pelvis, MRI, PSA, Uroflowmetry test with PVR, the Urologist diagnosed prostate enlargement, and the Doctor prescribed tablet Contiflo Icon 0.4 mg daily night. (II) Recent Issue since 21-05-2023: I have recently noticed urine infection with fever on 21-05-2023 night. I also get too much pressure & heat/burning on urination organ & anus, and continuous urination. I also get heat while urinating. I therefore consulted Urologist Doctor on 22-05-2023. The Doctor advised for some tests, and diagnosed Prostate enlargement and urine infection, and he first prescribed Tablet Oflox 200 mg, PAN, Dolo 650 mg and Contiflo Icon 0.4 mg.; and after seeing the test reports, the Doctor prescribed following medicines for 7 days; the test reports are attached, Pls see S No (1) to (5); and Doctor’s prescription S No (6) to (8). Faropenem Sodium tablets J. P. 200, PAN, Contiflo Icon 0.4 mg Doctor advised for Ultrasound sonography, urine culture test and Uroflometry test with PVR after 7 days; the same are attached as S No (9) to (10). The Uroflometry test could not be done. The recent Uroflometry test was done at Jupiter Hospital, Thane, Mumbai on 11-05-2023, and voided volume, maximum flow rate & PVR was 421 ml, 16 ml/second & 10 ml respectively. And earlier on 25-11-2022, the readings were 558 ml, 19 ml/second & 30 ml respectively. Now I am continuing only 1 tablet Contiflo Icon 0.4 mg daily night The Urologist Doctor advised for prostate operation. (III) Past History: I was operated 1st time for prostate enlargement in the month of Feb 2007. Kindly advise the treatment.
