What Treatment Should One Take For Yellow, Smelly Pus Under The Toenail ?

I have a yellow paste substance under my big toenail nail is fine and not discoloured at all had it for a while but it does smell

Hi...dear

Thanks for choosing HCM.,

Yellow pase substance under big toe nail..,

could be due to Infected fungal nfection...,

called Mixed infection...,

1) Soak the great toe into the Lukewarm salt water ...,

for 15 mts.,

2) Cap Ampox..Amoxycillin and Cloxacillin 500 mg...,

2times daily for 5 days..,

3) Tab Fluconazole 150 mg weekly once for 4 weeks..,

4) If sever pain...go for Incision and Drianagwe...

to let out the pus...,

Hi,

Welcome to HCM,

It seems that you might have fungal infection under your toe nail.

it is also possible that this may be due to some bacterial infection resulting forming pus inside.

Apply antifungal cream and take anti fungal oral medicine ,

For bacterial infection go for one antibiotic medicine course.
