What Type Of Doctor Should I See For Addison Disease?
I have had increasing pain near my stomach severe back pain unable to eat much. Pain increases with food, ct scan showed spot on pancreas MRI done and was ok. spent 5 days in hospital. They said I have Addison disease. Been on and off prednisone for a year saying I have autoimmune not sure what type? Seeing endocrinologist tomorrow. Not sure what type of doctor I should be seeing? Have been under digestive health doctor for 10 years due to IBS . totally frustrated
I really appreciate your concern, looking to the history given here it might not be the pathological condition you have and no need to conscious about the nonspecific symptoms some time all these might be happening due to some functional elements and I would suggest you to come out of these instead of seeing the particular doctor and you can do this, just try to control your thoughts, try to bear the pain or what ever the symptoms you, have, eat healthy, think healthy, do some exercise stop worrying.
Hope this information helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Akhtarhusain Shaikh
