What Types Of Food Should Be Avoid After Gall Bladder Removal?
hello doctor my daughter aged 7 years . we have done one operation gall bladder removing three years back. because of this in future my daughter getting any problem or not . and what are the food items we avoiod for my daughter . height 118 cm weight 27 kg
The problem mostly noticed after gall bladder removal is diarrhea , stomach upset etc.... This is because bile reservoir gall bladder not present.... So bile in low concentration secreted in intestine...
So if diarrhea occurs , high fatty food intake kept limited.... Fruits taken more.... Green leafy veg can be tolerated... Excess fried food avoided....
If still in future diarrhea if severe because of bile acid then after doctor consultation bile acid sequestrant like cholestyramin can be taken....
Hope your concern solved.
Take care.
