What Will Happen If I Missed One Dose Of My Abdominal TB Medicine?
i was diagnosed with TB in abdomen and taking medicine from past 5 and half month .The medicine i am taking are-Benadon and Monto-3.But yesterday i took Monto-3 but forgot to take Benadon.and Today in the morning i ate Benadon of yesterday s dosage. Is there any side effect or do i need to restart the 6 month course?
No, there is no need to restart the treatment. Don't worry. While we suggest taking the anti-TB drugs regularly. However, missing Benadon is not a great concern.
Benadon is vit b-6 which we generally give with anti TB drug to avoid side effects. By itself benadon is not an anti TB drug so missing it is not a matter of great concern.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
