Hi

Hormonal imbalance due to Polycystic ovaries can cause delayed period. You need to take regular treatment to normalise your cycles.

Dieting,Severe exercise, excess weight loss and sometimes long travel, Nutritional deficiencies can also cause delayed periods.

Incase of delayed periods, you can take pregnancy test(10 days after missed periods). If negative, hormonal treatment can be started to regularise the cycles.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
