What Would Cause Spotting And Slight Bleeding After Getting Sexually Active Apart From Delayed Menstruation?
Hi I have a concern i had unprotected sex but my boyfriend use a pull out method before we had sex I experience small bleeding or spotting and I’m already delayed with my menstruation. Also it is my first time to have sex. After we had sex I take althea pills in the morning. I would like to ask am I safe for pregnancy?

Hi,
To have bleeding before, during or after first intercourse is normal. Althea is a contraceptive pill. When you take it after sex, it's not safe to have pregnancy, with the same sex. At the same time, delayed or earlier next period after first sex is normal and physiological, so delayed period does not necessarily mean pregnancy.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
