What's The Cause And Cure For MRSA Where The Infections Keep Recurring?

My Daughter is having a problem finding a doctor who can help to treat her mrsa. We live in South Dakota and none of the physicians seem to know what to do for this problem. She has many areas of her body that seem to keep getting the infection and she doesn't have a clue on what else to do. She has had 3 surgeries and they cut out the areas, but now they seem to be coming back.

Hello,
Welcome to HCM,
This one of the major problem with irrational use of antibiotics. Some of the minor infections can be cleared by our own immune system.
Antibiotics, however, aren't always necessary.
When ever you are taking antibiotics, follow your doctors instructions precisely. Never stop taking your medicine, even if you're feeling better this one of the most common cause for rapid advent of antibiotics resistance.
If you don't take all of your medicine, some of the staph bacteria may survive, which have the potential to become resistant to the antibiotic.
MRSA is treatable.
Bactrim and vancomycin are often the first drugs used but these antibiotics are only available intravenously.
Unfortunately, there is emerging antibiotic resistance being seen with some of these medications also.
My sincere suggestion is take antibiotics on advise from your doctor and complete the course of medicine.
Hope you understood the magnitude of the problem.
Thank you.
