Hello,
Welcome to HCM,
This one of the major problem with irrational use of antibiotics. Some of the minor infections can be cleared by our own immune system.
Antibiotics, however, aren't always necessary.
When ever you are taking antibiotics, follow your doctors instructions precisely. Never stop taking your medicine, even if you're feeling better this one of the most common cause for rapid advent of antibiotics resistance.
If you don't take all of your medicine, some of the staph bacteria may survive, which have the potential to become resistant to the antibiotic.
MRSA is treatable.
Bactrim and
vancomycin are often the first drugs used but these antibiotics are only available intravenously.
Unfortunately, there is emerging
antibiotic resistance being seen with some of these medications also.
My sincere suggestion is take antibiotics on advise from your doctor and complete the course of medicine.
Hope you understood the magnitude of the problem.
Thank you.
