When Can I Sing Properly After Undergoing Tonsillectomy?
Hi I'm a singer and had my tonsils out 4 weeks ago, how long will it take for me to be properly singing again. I think I recovered quite quickly from the op, as I was eating normally within three days and felt no pain after six. But the back of my throat is still swollen and has not lifted up properly as my doctor said it would so although my actual voice is fine my singing is still restricted. Is this normal? Sorry for the long message. Oh as a side note the doctor said something about them bursting and stitches but I'd just come out of anesthetics so I'm not quite certain what happened.
