When Can One Test For Pregnancy After Taking Duphaston For Two Weeks Post Follicle Rupture?
Hi doctor, My egg got ruptured on September 27th ( day 15)..so doctor adviced me to take duphaston from 16th day to 29th day that means 14 days.. so now stopped duphaston, I missed my periods.. my period date was 13th October.. today morning taken urine test at home. But result is negative. So is Dupasthon tablet delayed periods or do you want us to wait few more days? Kindly.help me
Urine pregnancy test becomes positive 1 week after missing the periods. You can wait up to 10 to 14 days after missing the periods to confirm pregnancy by urine pregnancy test. Another way is to do a blood test to detect serum beta HCG which becomes positive immediately after missing the periods. This test helps in early detection of pregnancy. A value above 25 indicates positive result.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
